Moto X Play users in India start receiving Android 7.1 Nougat update

Motorola has started rolling out Android 7.1 Nougat for the Moto X Play. File Size: 760.6 MB Few of the key features to come with Nougat update are multi-window support which allows two apps to run simultaneously and double tap to switch between each. Next and very important is improved and enhanced battery life through work mode feature  which turns off the  phone's work apps when not in use. Moto X Play, which was launched at Rs 18,499 for the 16GB variant and Rs 19,999 for 32GB storage is now officially out of stock. Nokia 6 amasses more than 270,000 pre-orders within 24 hours of launch in China

Nokia fans have reserved more than 270,000 of its much-anticipated Nokia 6 Android-Phone within the first 24 hours of pre-orders.Exclusively available only in China from January 19th, one can now pre-register theNokia 6 on JD.com for 66 CNY (about $9). Though , that $9 fee for each Nokia 6 reservation, which will be deducted from the phone's retail price of $245. The Nokia 6 features a 5.5" 1080p screen with Gorilla Glass, classic Nokia design and an impressive audio quality according to HMD.The phone comes with an aluminum unibody and runs on a Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. Its camera should follow the Nokia trend and impress everyone. It's 16MP with an 8MP front shooter.

Moto X Play will receive Android Nougat update by the end of the month

Motorola kept its promise and is still one of the fastest when it comes to updating its devices! Now we have official confirmation of the exact date you will see Android 7.0 Nougat in your Moto X Play.   The Android 7.0 Nougat is already available for the Moto Z, Z Force and Moto G4Phones, Nougat adds battery optimization, multi-screen support, security improvements and the new Motorola boot animation. Motorola Germany has just tweeted the official date of the new Android 7.0 update rollout for the Moto X Play. As you can see, the Moto X Play will get the update by the end of this month i.e. January! Currently we have no idea whether this update will be rolled out globally or not!

Moto G5 Plus set to Launch on March 2017, Priced Rs.14,999 in India

Motorola will launch the Moto G5 and the G5 Plus in India in March 2017 while the Moto G5 Play will be announced later on.  The 4GB RAM model of the G5 Plus will go on sale with a starting price of  ₹14,999. There will be two storage options i.e. 32 GB / 64 GB. As per earlier leaks, the device will be announced in March and will be offered in two color options, Silver and Gold when Motorola officially announces the devices at its press event. The Moto G5 Plus will pack a 5.5" Full HD display, Snapdragon 625, octa-core clocked at 2.0GHz paired with Adreno 506, 4GB RAM and 32GB Internal storage.  The device will sport 13-megapixel rear cameras with dual-LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfies. The G5 Plus is said to include a 3080mAh battery, Front facing fingerprint sensor and Android 7.0 Nougat.

The new Nokia 6 is official! HMD just introduced the newest Nokia smartphone and the first Nokia-branded phone in two years after Microsoft announced it would stop using the iconic brand. The new phone will be available in China for around $230 and it comes with the latest Android version with Nokia's UI on top. The phone features a 5.5" 1080p screen with Gorilla Glass, classic Nokia design and an impressive audio quality according to HMD. The phone comes with an aluminum unibody and runs on a Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. Its camera should follow the Nokia trend and impress everyone. It's 16MP with an 8MP front shooter. Android 7.0 Nougat OTA starts rolling out for the Moto G4 Plus

After a bunch of Soak tests, Motorola has started rolling out Official Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Moto G4 Plus in India. The new update contains Google's latest Android 7.0 Nougat, New Moto Actions and much more. This update is rolling out in batches, So not everyone will get the update right-away but it should reach your Motorola phone in the coming days. Haven't received the notification yet? Just Go to Settings > About Phone and Software update!  It is probably the best New Year Gift from Motorola to Moto G4 owners, Comment below if you have or haven't received the update yet!

CyanogenMod OS is Dead, New Lineage OS Unveiled!

After shocking users all around by announcing the shutdown of Cyanogen services yesterday, the CM team has some good news. The CyanogenMod team, what’s left of it, will use the CM source code and transition it into Lineage OS. The CyanogenMod ROM was and is still one of most used custom Android ROMs. A lot of users rely on the CM ROM to get the latest Android OS on their devices. When the OEM doesn’t support a device anymore, users could go to CyanogenMod to get the latest version Android running on their devices. Lineage OS will be a continuation of CyanogenMod, although it will be slightly different. It will still rely on the CM source code, and as Cyanogen mentioned in their obituary, anyone can use the open source-code to continue the work. 2017 is going to be a great year for Nokia lovers, As the Finnish Company is finally going to make a comeback in Smartphone industry with two new Android Smartphones.Rumors says that the Nokia-branded Android Smartphones could have 5-inch and 5.5-inch variants,The same will be named as Nokia D1C or D1 and Nokia E1. According to latest rumors by Nokiapoweruser, the Nokia D1 will feature a front facing rectangular fingerprint sensor which will also act as a home button. While the Nokia E1 is the one without fingerprint sensor!.Previously leaked Nokia D1C AnTuTu benchmark also reveals device specification. According to the AnTuTu Screenshot, The Nokia D1C features a 1920 x 1080 resolution display, 8 MP front and 13 MP rear camera. As leaked earlier, the device will be powered with Snapdragon 430, Adreno 505 GPU paired with 3GB of RAM. There is going to be a 32GB Internal storage, which may or may not be expendable.

Google confirms it will launch two flagship smartwatches early next year

Jeff Chang, the product manager of Android Wear at Google, has confirmed that Google will launch two new flagship watches early next year. An important thing to note is that these watches will not feature Google or Pixel branding and will instead be branded by whichever company is manufacturing them. Chang did not disclose who the manufacturer is, but he did say that they have produced Android Wear devices in the past.  In addition, after the launch of these two flagship smartwatches, Android Wear 2.0 will also be rolled out to existing Android Wear watches. It's been two weeks since Google began rolling out Official Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Pixel and Nexus Devices, while users on the Android Beta Program have still been waiting for the final release. Well, here's a good news for Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P Users on the Android Beta Program. Google has started pushing out final Android 7.1.1 OTA update for Nexus 5X, 6P devices on Android Beta Program. The update costs 65.1MB for Nexus 5X and 26MB for Nexus 6P. If your device hasn't received the notification yet, just Check it out via Settings > About phone > System update.

Google finally launches its 'Gboard' app for Android devices

Motorola Moto M launched in India; pricing starts from Rs 15,999

After several teasers on Twitter Lenovo today has officially launched the Moto M smartphone in India. The latest Moto phone is priced at Rs 15,999 and will be available to buy from Flipkart starting midnight 11.59pm tomorrow on December 14.The Moto M was first launched in China last month. It is the first Moto phone under Rs 20,000 to have a full metal unibody design. The latest phone is more or less an incremental update over the Moto G4 Plus with the fingerprint sensor relocated to the back panel, which is a welcome change since the home button sensor is uncomfortable to use to most users. Moto M features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080p resolution and 2.5D curved glass. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor backed by 4GB RAM and 32GB, 64GB internal storage options.
